OakTec is launching our new 6kW hydrogen generator. In April 2022 it is going on trial in Orkney integrated in a solar-battery-hybrid energy system to power the new cruise terminal reception building . The generator uses a new 7.5 kW hydrogen engine that emits only water vapour yet works just like an equivalent petrol or diesel engine. This engine can be used in a variety of small construction equipment and is being followed by a range of larger liquid cooled hydrogen engines that will provide up to 57kW power. These complement OakTec’s range of ultra clean LPG and biogas engines.
