Pedestrian detection and interaction with plant and other MHE is an ever-increasing concern for everyone within our industry, historic systems involve the use of pedestrians having to wear ‘tags’ that interact with receivers fitted to machinery, this outdated method falls apart on multi contractor sites, where it’s impossible to control who does and does not wear such things. FTC Group have developed their Pedestrian Detection Camera system with this in mind and will showcase this at FutureWorx2022. Many construction and plant co’s are already using the system in the field with FTC Group seeing a huge increase in demand, FTC Group’s BDM Sean Hamill states ‘We are working with companies across the board, who see the clear benefits of such a system fitted to their assets, our system works on any brand or type of machine and delivers instant Health and Safety improvements across the board’.
FTC’s system can be seen on their stand A13 and Plant Force will also showcase the system on their own stand following recent positive trials on their plant.
